His love and respect for his family was unsurpassable. Andrew was a coach, a mentor, and most of all a strong, compassionate and generous man. He was dedicated to his children's sports endeavors and was credited for much of their individual success. He too was quite the sportsman while boasting at Bowling and even finding his game televised. He was an avid golfer and in his youth a fantastic football player taking the seat as Quarterback. He was a DIY kinda guy, a super mechanic, plus a skilled carpenter.

He was blessed with an unbelievable voice and was known for his ability to sing beautifully. Andy was a movie buff and a true western day cowboy at heart. As a keeper of iconic family memorabilia, Andy has noted much Pope history.
