Cindy Bernal Sanchez was called to the Lord on December 12, 2017 at her home in Citrus Heights, California.  She was born in Fresno, California on December 8th, 1956 to Alfred and Catalina Bernal  She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Dan Sanchez, her children Andrea (Adam O’Connell) and Joseph Sanchez, and her two grandsons Daniel and Nolan O’Connell. She leaves behind a large extended family.  Cindy was a native of Fresno, California. She worked for Fresno Unified School District for nearly three decades, primarily in Risk Management. She took pride in helping people through her work. Cindy was able to empathize and make connections with people, always advocating for those who didn’t have a voice.  Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed large family gatherings. She was always willing to provide guidance and support to her loved ones. After her retirement she especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren and spending quiet time in Monterey.  A memorial is scheduled for Tuesday, December 19th, at 11AM at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA, 916- 725-2109). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Cindy’s life.
