Born in Carbon Hill, Alabama in 1930, at 87, was called to Heaven Sunday, January 28, 2018.
Preceded in death by the love of her life, husband of 49 years, Thomas "Gene" Moore, she leaves beloved sister, Janis Kashuba; treasured daughters Carole Pacini and Lisa Moore; cherished grandchildren, Derek Ensminger, Jaicee Moore, Kayli Moore, Brandy Hutchison (Ray), Rachel Easter (Eric), great grandchildren, great-great grandson and another on the way; loved sister-in-law, Joan Barker and family of Randy (Milagro) Ensminger; and ALL extended family; dear friends Maria and Anita, (and the late Joan Tarpinian) and all the residents and staff of Sierra Regency where she has enjoyed her life and the family of friends there for the past eight years.
She loved taking care of her family in every way and was a loving and loyal wife and dedicated and nurturing mother. She excelled at cooking, baking and homemaking under the most challenging circumstances being an Air Force wife and traveling and living overseas and throughout the U.S. Some of her interests were reading, her soap operas and movies, roses, and flower arranging, but her heart was her family.
Her life will be celebrated Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Sierra Regency, 1015 Madden Lane, Roseville, CA at noon. Remembrances may be made to NAMI.org or The Parkinson's Foundation.
