Elaine was one of the finest people I have ever known. She was effervescent, dignified and extremely good at supporting the Generals and senior staff. She truly represented the best of what an Executive Secretary can be. Her professional competence shined brightest during stressful events such as wildfires that engulfed the state and riots that tore at communities. I often referred to Elaine as an Iron Butterfly. Rest in peace Elaine
