Emma Moss

Emma died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on February 27, 2018 at age 86.

Resident of Rocklin, CA. Born in Petaluma, CA on February 19, 1932. Loving wife of Harry Moss. Mother of Paul Moss (Betsy), Marilyn Korber (Al), Sherril Cortez (Manuel), and David Moss (Tamara). Nonni to Erica Renteria (Marcus), Vanessa Moss, Kristi and Aaron Cortez, Matthew Thomas, and Jessica, Mike, and Jacob Montoya. Daughter of the late Romualdo and Mary Carnazola. Sister of Irene and Ronald Carnazola and the late Silvio Carnazola, Evelyn Morris and Andrew Carnazola (Joyce). Graduate of St. Vincent High School, Petaluma; and San Francisco College for Women (USF). Taught elementary school in San Francisco, Petaluma and San Juan School Districts. A member of St. Mel’s Parish, active in the pro-life movement and various prayer groups. Enjoyed hiking, sports, traveling, gardening, water aerobics, crafts and especially family get-togethers. Loyal and loving to family, faith, friends and America.

Friends and family are welcome for visitation on March 4 from 3:00-7:00pm (Rosary at 5:00pm) at Price Funeral Chapel (6335 Sunrise Blvd, 916-725-2109), and a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mel’s Catholic Church at 10:00am on March 5. Reception immediately following. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
