Frank Michael Lolo

November 10, 1926 ~ June 19, 2017 (age 90) 90 Years Old

Frank Lolo, of Orangevale, CA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, June 19, 2017. One of seven children, he was born on November 10, 1926 in Rome, NY. After serving in WWII, he began a career as a civil servant at Griffiss Air Force Base. In 1964, he was transferred to California where he worked at McClellan Air Force Base and retired at the age of 55.  During his 35 years of retirement, he enjoyed a healthy and active lifestyle in which he was an avid bicyclist and runner. Known for his ping pong expertise and love of Frank Sinatra, he also enjoyed horseshoes, golf, skiing, and dancing the polka. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren.  Frank is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Lolo; son, Kim (Beth) Lolo; daughter Lynne (Pat) Coughlin; three grandchildren, Shannon; Delaney; and Eamonn Coughlin; two siblings Josephine Finn, and Caroline Sadlik; and many other relatives and friends.  Friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 1PM at Calvary Catholic Cemetery Chapel (7101 Verner Ave., Sacramento, CA). In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.  PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (725-2109), directors.
