Gordon Paul Milligan, age 83 passed away on Sat. May 20, 2017.  He was born in Salt Lake City, UT on July 6, 1933.  He was proceeded in death by his father Howard Ira Milligan and mother Mary Gold Armstrong Milligan as well as his brother and three sisters.  He is survived by his wife Gloria Creager Milligan, sons and daughters, Stephen Milligan (Kathi), Janice Riggins, Judy Doss (Michael), Jeanne Koplin (Michael), Marianne Milligan, Douglas Milligan (Deidra), Christopher Milligan, 29 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.  After serving his country for 3 years in the Navy, he graduated from the University of Utah as a Mechanical Engineer and went to work in the rocket industry.  Friends are invited to attend a viewing on Wed., May 31, 2017 from 4-8PM, and his funeral service on Thurs., June 1, 2017 at 10AM, all at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA, 725-2109).  Interment on Thurs., June 1, 2017 at 2:30PM at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery (5810 Midway Rd. Dixon, CA. 95620).
