James Al Hatfield of Citrus Heights, Ca., born on September 14, 1943, in Galena, KS., passed away on July 17, 2016.  He is survived by his wife Adeline, his sons Jimmy and Chris, daughter-in-law Christine and granddaughters Maranda and Kymberly.  Jim was a veteran who proudly served his country in Vietnam.  In addition to being a wonderful husband, father, and friend, he was a hard worker and loyal man who enjoyed volunteering in the community and spending time with his family.  Jim always had a handshake, a smile and a kind word to offer.  He enjoyed a diverse career with time spent as a peace officer, a truck driver, and a marketing & public relations person.  He loved all aspects of the radio control hobby.  He enjoyed classic cars and riding his motorcycle.  Taken from us much too soon, he will be greatly missed, and forever in our hearts.  Friends are welcome for visitation on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 4-8PM at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., 725-2109) and are invited to attend services on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10AM at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Citrus Heights Ward Chapel (8056 Oak Avenue, Citrus Heights, California).  Interment to follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery (8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, Ca 95628).
