Jane Alice Anspach

Jane Anspach passed peacefully in her sleep on April 10, 2018 at 94 years of age. Born Jane Alice Beckhusen to Herman and Pauline Beckhusen in Toledo, Ohio, October 20, 1923. Twin sister to Jean, sister to Paul, Alvin and Elsa. She graduated from Clay High School, Toledo Ohio in 1942 where her byline was “as true as I live”. Jane married the love of her life, John Anspach on April 19, 1945 after just 3 dates. They moved to Ft. Wayne, Indiana, where three of their children were born—Steven (deceased), Linda and Edward; in 1959 they moved to Orangevale, California and had two more sons, Richard (deceased) and Jeffrey. Jane loved sports; was an avid swimmer and ice skater when living in Toledo next to Lake Erie and loved the outdoors, gardening and crocheting. Jane had a great appreciation for the Bible and her relationship with God. She worked in retail sales at K-Mart and Fountain Square until she retired; joined TOPS in Orangevale and acquired many friends. When Jane made a friend, you were a friend for life! She loved everyone and was loved by everyone she met. Jane is survived by her sons Edward (Rhonda), Jeffrey (Lynette) and daughter, Linda (Harvey) Olson, many nieces, nephews and 48 grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren.
