To family and friends -
Professor Dyer had a greater impact on my life than anyone else I can think of, save for my wife and two sons. Now 56 years old, I’ve told countless people over many years how Jay single-handedly, and with much passion, energized me to work harder, to achieve more, and to invest into my own future. So much of what I have achieved is owed to this beautiful man’s spirit. A few months ago I tragically lost my 26 year old son in a traffic accident and tonight, as I lay down to sleep—hoping for a moment’s peace—I again remembered Jay, and had hoped to locate him and to finally tell him how he impacted my life, so very much. Like many others no doubt, I feel fortunate to have had Jay in my life, and am truly sorry I missed his earthly self, but trust that his great Being continues, and is perhaps hearing my sentiments from another place
Tomorrow is promised to nobody, a lesson I now grasp too well. So I bid my deepest gratitude for having had Jay I my life.
