Of El Dorado Hills, CA passed away on January 17, 2018 at the age of 85. She was from Illinois and born on August 20, 1932 to James and Catherine McGrath. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Riffel and survived by her loving children; Kathleen (Anthony) Pescetti, Constance Cheek,  Robert Riffel, Jrand Raymond Riffel, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. 

From an early age, Joyce had a love for horses and the outdoors. She also loved cows and those who knew her were not surprised when she purchased anything cow related at every turn. She was VERY proud of her Irish Heritage and sure to share that with anyone she met.   Later in life she developed a love for Snoopy.  As Snoopy said “If you ask me how long I’ll be your friend? My answer will be, I don’t know, ‘cause I really don’t know which is longer, forever or always?” This was so true of Joyce,there are countless people whose lives she touched.  During her career as co-owner of Admail West, she invested every effort she could in her team. Decades later those friendships remained and meant the world to Joyce. Thank you to family and friends for the calls, prayers and thoughts for Joyce. We know they would mean the world to her as they do us.

Friends are welcome for visitation on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 4-7PM with a rosary service at 6PM all at  PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, 725-2109) and are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 10AM at ST. MEL CATHOLIC CHURCH (4745 Pennsylvania Ave., Fair Oaks). Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
