Kam R. Akana passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Mercy Folsom Hospital.  He was born Feb. 27, 1967, in Panorama City, CA.  He was the beloved son of Janet Akana and Henry K. Akana (Carol).  He leaves behind besides his parents, three sisters and one brother: Valerie Akana (Greg), Teresa Murphy (Joe), Kent Kalani Akana (Cathy), Krista Akana Smith (Robert), and many nephews and nieces.  He graduated from San Juan High School in 1985.  Friends and family are invited to attend the viewing and service at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, 725-2109) on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 10AM - 12PM (Viewing starts at 10AM, Service starts at 11AM).  Kam will be loved and missed forever.
