Launna Christensen Brink was born on August 8, 1948 to her loving parents, Merwin Parley Christensen and Prescilla Robbins Christensen, in Tremonton, Utah.    She passed away in her sleep on June 7, 2017 at the age of 68.

Launna is survived by three older siblings.  The oldest, her sister Deo Johnsen, lives in Bear River, Utah.  The oldest brother, Berthel, lives in the Salt Lake City area, and Gayle, the younger of her older brothers, resides in Garland, Utah.

Launna graduated from Bear River High School in 1966.  She loved to sing and was a member of the Bear River High School A Cappella Choir where she travelled all over the west coast performing with her peers. 

Launna attended Utah State University where she met Charles Holden Brink.  They were married on Thursday, September 12, 1968, in the Logan Temple. 

Launna had an intense love of music and was very gifted with the piano.  She had the ability to read by sight, being able to pick up any piece of sheet music and just start playing.  She was honored to serve for many years as the ward organist and loved to teach piano.

In addition to her spouse, Charles Holden Brink, she is survived by the families of her two children, Christopher Charles Brink and Sheralynn Johnson. 

Launna is also survived by four grandchildren: 

Julia Lynn Brink (17) and Connor Holden Brink  Friends and family are welcome for visitation on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 12PM, with the funeral service at 1PM, all at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, 725-2109).  Interment on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 1PM at Riverview Cemetery, Tremonton, UT.
