I happened to think of Mark Dyson - one of my fellow missionaries in England 1964-1966.
I googled for him and happened to find this obituary. My heartfelt condolences - albeit late.
Mark Dyson left a profound impression on me.
I would love to tell you more.

Kind regards,
Eckhard Hensel

Hi Steve, would you please pass this on to Kurt Koehle- Thank you.

Hi, Bruder Koehle,

maybe you remember me. I was one of the 6 or so missionaries from Germany who served at the same time as you and Mark Dyson. Mark Dyson left a profound impression on me.
Would love to hear from you.

Kurt,
What a special thing to read a message from on of my Dad's missionary companions. He would love the fact that you are reaching out and thinking of him. The gospel meant everything to him and he talked often of his time serving as a missionary.
It's been a blessing to here all the stories that people have shared with us since he has passed. Our family would love to hear more from you.
I hope you and your family are well and thank you again for your kind message.

Regards,
Steve Dyson

Steve,
I just found- rather late - the obituary for Mark E. Dyson. I happened to think about him and found the obit when googling.
I too was one of th e fellow missionaries with Mark Dyson, and he had a profound influence on me. He was unique in many ways, so loving und so caring and always saying good things about me and others. I also remember Kurt Koehle, also from Germany originally.

Steve-
Just saw the posting of your Dad's passing. I'm very sorry for your loss.
I was a British missionary who had the privilege of knowing your father Mark. He had a powerful impact on me as a missionary and since. Many missionaries who served with Mark would consider him the most influential fellow missionary leader they knew.
I would love to talk to you. My number is (801) 671-4899. I live in Salt Lake City.

Mark was always good for a few laughs and he had lots of energy when playing board games at many birthday parties over the years. Thanks for sharing your home for many fun times over the years. His great laugh and pleasant demeanor will surely be missed. Love you Kay:)
