Susan passed away at her Elk Grove, CA home on December 23, 2016 at the age of 64. Born May 19, 1952 in Long Beach, CA, Susan was the loving mother of Robert Miller, sister of Mitzi Ball and Timothy Stedman, grandmother of Kali Miller, and aunt to Pam Burke, Wendy Henderson, Danielle Miller, Joseph Winn, Laura Winn Morris, Krista Clifton, Jared Stedman, Jennifer Ball, Amy Ball, and Matthew Ball.. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Miller, mother Vail Stedman, father Edward Stedman and brother Terry Olson. Feisty and funny, Susan made many friends at her church, Ananda Center of Sacramento, and in her long career as a real estate specialist and program manager for the US Army Corps of Engineers, both in San Francisco and Sacramento. Professionally, Susan enjoyed traveling the country to meet with leaders in the US Army and in Native American tribes. She was also a model for world-renowned artist, Jerald Silva. She loved her family, especially her son and granddaughter.  Family and friends are invited to a 1:30PM graveside service on Thursday, Jan. 12 at Green Hills Memorial Park (27501 S Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275).  Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life to honor Susan on February 25, 2017 from 2 - 5 pm at the home of Mitzi Ball:  6329 Lincoln Ave, Carmichael CA 95608.  All Susan's family and friends are invited...please RSVP via email to: mitzimarlene@yahoo.com or via phone (916)849-9327. 6329 Lincoln Ave is on a private driveway accessed from Lincoln Ave.  Signage will mark entry.   An email with details will be sent if you rsvp.
