Susan, known growing up as Sue P, passed away 8/30/17 after a long illness.  She was born in Chicago and was an avid Cub’s fan.  She was thrilled when they won the 2016 World Series.  Sue was adventurous, fearless, and passionate, especially toward the welfare of animals and those who couldn’t care for themselves.  As a teen, Sue P worked at Camp Teresita Pines in CA, and has many friends from that time who have shared their love with her all along Sue's journey. She loved the outdoors and she loved to laugh.  Sue eventually moved to CA, where for years she lived in an ashram, taught yoga, and traveled, even living in the Bahamas.  Afterward she moved back to Chicago.  Sue set up a pet sitting business on the North side of Chicago and loved her work and her clients.   A few years ago, her journey brought her back to CA.  She made many friends along the way.  She expressed she wanted to "go back to her roots" and found solace at Holy Family Catholic Church where she was confirmed earlier this year.  Sue's journey ends here, with the richness of all that she gathered throughout her life, leading her to ultimate peace.  Friends are invited to Recitation of the Holy Rosary on Thursday, September 7, at 9:30AM, at HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH (7817 Old Auburn Road, Citrus Heights, CA  95610), followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM.  Interment at Sylvan District Cemetery.  PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (916-725-2109), directors.
