Wayne Ronald Lutzow, 75, resident of Wallace, CA, passed away peacefully in the care of his loving family in Greenwood, CA on September 9, 2017.  Born in Oak Park, IL on November 29, 1941 to Adolph and Marie Lutzow, Wayne grew up in Chicago, IL until the age of 10 when his family moved to Inglewood, CA. Wayne graduated from Inglewood High in 1960 and obtained his AA in Music from El Camino College in 1963. He played in the Yale Accordion Orchestra where he met his lifelong love, Diana Marie Graham; married before the Justice of the Peace in Inglewood, CA on November 24, 1963, church wedding held at Chapel of Peace, Inglewood, CA  on January 18, 1964, and sealed for eternity with their three daughters at the Los Angeles Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, on November 8, 1975.  Wayne earned his pilot license and served in the Air Force, stationed in Korea and Kansas. He returned to school to earn his BA in Child Development from California State University-Northridge in 1980. Wayne was employed as a telephone technician and quality control manager for Bell Telephone System for 30 years. Wayne continued his love of music, playing piano and organ for church services, singing in the Sacramento Symphony Chorus, and participating in various musical performances. Owner of Twelve Tone Piano Service, an active member of the Piano Technicians Guild, and accordionist for the Freilachmakers Klezmer String Band, Wayne reveled in the connections he made with people through both music and faith. Throughout his 43-year membership in the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Wayne served in many positions, including a mission with his wife, Diana.  Wayne is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Diana Marie Lutzow.  He is survived by his sister, Bonnie Bell; his three daughters, Kristine (Ed) Barrera, Stephanie (Daniel) Sewell, and Deborah (Robert) Bain; his ten grandchildren, Daniel, Brittany, and Katie Parsons, Devyn Barrera, Adam, Ryan, Danny, and Alex Sewell, Alice and Beatrice Bain; his seven great-grandchildren Blake, Everret, Mikayla, Hannah, Austin, Jayden, and Taylor; and his second wife of eight years, Marlene Kappasser-Fitt.  Please join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11 AM at the Lincoln Cemetery (1445 1st St.  Lincoln, CA  95648), with a luncheon following the service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (252 N. O St.  Lincoln, CA  95648).  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.  PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (916-725-2109), directors.
