David Martin

David Martin, a retired California Correctional Peace Officer, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the age of 67 after a three year long battle with cancer. 

David is survived by his wife, Claudia Martin, and their two children, Errol and Krina Martin.

David was born in Bucharest, Romania on October 15, 1956, to mother, Regina David, and lovingly raised by Regina and her mother, Catarina. David immigrated to America in 1982 and became a citizen in 1988.

David always made sure his family was provided for and spent much of his time working on and around the house that he built. If he wasn’t taking additional shifts at work, he could almost always be found in paint-stained sweatpants and T-shirts remodeling, repairing odds and ends, and gardening. He also had a love for electronics and gadgets, and if he wasn’t in the yard, he was guaranteed to be tinkering with a computer at his desk in the family room.

He will be remembered as a loving father, beloved and loyal husband, hard worker, and his presence will be missed dearly.
