Bea was born May 6, 1924 on a farm outside Colby, KS to parents Woody and Dot.  She died peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer on June 8, 2017.  Bea was an avid golfer serving as an active member of women's clubs at Del Paso CC, Rancho Murieta CC, and was a founding member and captain of the Granite Bay women's club.  Bea played golf well into her 80's.  Bea was also proud to be a founding member of St. Joseph Marello Catholic Church.  Bea was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mark.  Together they operated a highly successful home construction business for over 30 years.  Bea was supported in her life by her loving family to whom she was devoted.  Bea is the loving mother of Sue Burr (Buzz Breedlove), Dana Scheid (Ed), Mike Burr (Jeanne), Dan Ures (Cathy), and Mark Ures (Vickie) who passed away in 2011.  She was known as a loving matriarch with 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.  The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Oakmont of Folsom and Sutter Hospice who provided loving care and support to her at the end of her life.  Friends and family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 10AM at St. Joseph Marello Catholic Church (7200 Auburn Folsom Rd., Granite Bay, CA).  Interment following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Placer Food Bank, Salvation Army, or Sutter Medical Foundation.  PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (916-725-2109), directors.
