Belinda Jane Beckman

It is with great sadness that the family of Belinda Beckman announces her passing on September 10, 2018.  Belinda Peoples was born in West Virginia on September 15, 1953 to William and Gwinda Peoples.  At the age of 3 they moved to Blount County, Alabama, where she was raised until her mid teens.  She moved to Sacramento, California where she graduated from Rio Americano High School in January 1972.  Belinda met her husband Dennis in July of 1977 and they were married October 1978.  To this union they had 3 children, Melanie (Nick) Gerlich, Patrick (Annette) Beckman, and Paul Johnson-Graham.  She was Nana to 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.  Belinda enjoyed life as much as she could.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing pool where she was the secretary and treasurer for the 8 baller's pool league for over 9 years.  Belinda spent every weekend, during the college football season cheering for her beloved University of Alabama.  She is going to be missed deeply by everyone.  RIP.  Friends and family are welcome for visitation on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 4:00-7:00pm, and are invited to attend services on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 9:30am all at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, 916-725-2109).  Interment at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
