Darrell Satchwell, was born in Lodi, CA on 05/28/39 and passed away peacefully at home in Citrus Heights, CA on 11/12/17.  Darrell and wife, Barbara were married for 59 years and lived in Redding, CA for 31 years prior to moving to the Sacramento area in 2012 to be closer to family.  Darrell is preceded in death by son, Brian Satchwell, Daughter, Kim MacInnes, sisters Karen Hancox and Shirley Kille, and his parents.  Darrell is survived by wife, Barbara, son Bret and wife Gayle; five grandchildren: Billy Carpenter, Bret MacInnes, Niccole Street (spouse Mike and great-grandson Noah), Matt Satchwell (fiancée’ Kayla) and Sarah Satchwell.  Darrell is also survived by brother Terry and wife Clarsia; brother-in-law Ken Kille and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephew.  He held several jobs in his lifetime but his greatest passion was gardening and his family; attending all his children and grandchildren’s’ sports activities.  A Celebration of Life gathering is being planned for a future date.  Our family wishes to thank the Roseville Care Center, the transition team from Sweet Angels, the great caregivers from BrightStar and Sutter Hospice in Roseville for all the wonderful care Darrell received over the past few months.  Everyone who knew and loved him will miss his wonderful sense of humor and his gift of gab.
