Dennis Lee Evans, Sr.

 With great sadness we wish to announce the passing of Dennis Lee Evans Sr. our dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, "PaPa" Denny on June 3, 2018.  He was born in Los Angeles, CA and a proud graduate of Hollywood High, which was so dear to his heart.

  He was an accomplished businessman having worked in many capacities before joining AAA Insurance where he became salesmaster for 7 years.  Following AAA Insurance, he joined Northwestern Mutual Insurance for over 45 years, where he set and met many goals in his field.  He had many clients that became his close friends.  He was a proud member and former President of the Sutter Hospital Board for many years, The Easter Seal Board where he also served as President, member of Del Paso Country Club and a very proud member of the Rotary Club of Sacramento which he loved and will be missed by many.

  He is preceded in death by his father W. Lee Evans, his mother Juanita (Boring) Evans, brother Michael and son Dennis Lee Evans, Jr.  He is survived by his loving family, wife, Kristine Krueger-Evans, his daughter, Zoe Love Evans VIII and Jerry Peeper of Osage Beach, MO, son Scott Buffington Evans Sr. and his wife Kelli of Sacramento, and step-daughter Lauren Wiest and David Howard.  His grandchildren, Joshua Moulder and his wife Melissa, Kristen Finch and her husband Alex all of Camdenten, MO, Scott B. Evans Jr. and Cameron Wright and step-granddaughter Coraline Howard all of Sacramento, CA.  He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Carson Moulder, Michelle Moulder, Taylor McGowan, Trevor and Kylee Moulder, Evan Mahlberg, Laci Stoufer, and Clay Finch all of Missouri.  Also surviving him is his beloved sister Zoe (Evans) Sipantzi and her husband Vahan of Wilder, ID and his niece and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  He leaves so many friends close to his heart whom he loved and cherished from high school to the present. 

 Friends and family are welcome to attend his Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 1PM at the Dante Club (2330 Fair Oaks Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95825).  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice or the SSPCA or the Front Street shelter in Sacramento.
