Dennis Woffinden Stohl died peacefully at his home on November 26th, 2019, in Roseville, California, at the age of 78. Dennis is survived by his wife, Judy Arnold Stohl, children Kris (Kim), Kevin (Stephanie) and Kelly (Angie); grandchildren Rebecca, Jacob, Mallory, Ryan, Reilly, Carter, and Laynie; siblings Jackie Murri, Brent Stohl, Sandy Leavitt, and Sid Stohl. He is preceded in death by his daughter Cammi (Lance) Stohl Brady. Dennis was born on May 10th, 1941, in Tremonton, Utah, to Floyd Stohl and Hope Woffinden Stohl. As a young boy Dennis moved to Ashton, Idaho where he grew up helping his father on the family farm. He graduated from North Fremont High School in 1959, and afterwards served a mission in Helsinki Finland. He married Judy Arnold in 1965, and graduated from Idaho State University in 1968 with a degree in business. In 1974, Dennis and Judy moved to California to work for California Farm Bureau, where he worked for 35 years. He loved planning the annual California Farm Bureau Meeting, and continued to help plan it even after he retired. Some of his favorite things in life were traveling, golfing, barbershop music, tinkering in his garage, working in his yard, talking to anyone that would listen, telling stories, and spending time with his friends and family. A viewing for friends and family is scheduled for Friday, December 6th at the Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on December 7th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 7950 Hazel Avenue, Orangevale, CA 95662, with a viewing from 8:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may can be made to Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom, 2600 River Plaza Dr., #220, Sacramento, CA 95833.
