James (Jim) Albert Essex Jr.

James A. Essex Jr. (Jim) 81 years old and a Fair Oaks resident for 61 years passed away on February 18, 2018, when he succumbed to cancer.  He was preceded by his wife and love of his life, Glenda McDonald and parents Albert Sr. and Mabel.  They have three daughters Jody Essex, Debbie Brandon, and Allison Munds.  Debbie passed away in 2016.  They were blessed with six grandchildren, Brent, Desiree, Casey, Nathaniel, Chelsea, and Zackary and 9 great grandchildren.  He had five siblings, four brothers, Duane, Eugene, Michael and a fourth brother who passed away, Monte (USMC) and sister Jeri.  Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Friday, February 23, 2018, 1PM at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, 916-725-2109).
