58, of Rancho Cordova, CA, passed on Sunday, June 11, 2017 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with neuro endocrine cancer. Kevin was born on December 20, 1958 in Artesia, CA to Gilbert and Lucy (Bruno) Romo. He was employed by Sacramento County for over 27 years, retiring from the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors as a Deputy Clerk in March of this year. Prior to his time with the county he worked in the banking industry; he was at Bank of America for over 10 years and ended his banking career as a Personnel Manager at the Consumer Loan Center. Kevin enjoyed photography, rafting on the American River with family and friends, gardening, skiing, snowboarding, music, playing black jack, traveling, Thai food and was an avid Sacramento Kings and River Cats fan. He was known for his contagious laugh, warm smile and giving heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew and cherished him.  Survived by his loving wife of 38 years Beverly Faye Romo, son Seth Romo, granddaughter Lauren Romo, siblings; Lena Montenegro of West Sacramento, CA, Libby (Jim) Coker of Colorado Springs, CO, Lucia (Bob Aguilar) Romo of Houston, TX, Gilbert Romo, Jr. of Houston, TX,  Gilbert Kelly of Salt Lake City, UT, Gail Kelly Watts of Riverton, UT, Tony (Denise) Romo, Catoosa, OK, Bernie (Debbie) Romo of Broken Arrow, OK and Sofia Romo of West Sacramento, CA, Mother-in-law; Somporn Kell of Rancho Cordova, CA, Sister-in-laws; Sawanya (Peter) Wong of Rancho Cordova, CA, Michelle (Keith) LaMar of Sacramento, CA and Kelly (Amanda Davidian-Holmes) Kell of Sacramento, CA and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.  A special acknowledgement to nieces Kristin, Lucia, Mandy, Jessica, Kimberly, Janee, Tyrisha, Tyla and nephews Isaiah and DeMarcus, Kevin was especially close to them and was like a dad to them.
