Of Carmichael, California, May 27, 2018, a native of Providence, Utah, age 84 years. Loving husband of the late Karen Nielsen. Cherished father of Sheri (Ron) Jensen, Diane (Duane) Tyler, David (Tricia) Nielsen, John (Jenni) Nielsen, Nancy (Allen) Reid, Kent (Sarah) Nielsen, Linda (Roman) Benvenuti and Laura (David) Waters. 45 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend services Wednesday, June 6, 2018, 2PM at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Ashton Park Ward Chapel (2745 Eastern Ave., Sacramento, CA). A private interment with full military honors will be at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, CA.
