Suzanne Mary Elizabeth Vierra, 70, of Folsom, CA, returned to her heavenly home on October 15, 2017.  Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and gave her peace.  She was born in San Jose, CA in 1947 where she attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School, Notre Dame High School, San Jose City College, and San Jose State College.  She worked for the City of San Jose and later met her husband, Lee Vierra.  They were married in November 1972, moved to Fair Oaks, CA and had three children.  She is survived by her husband of 44 years, children Matthew, Michael, and Kimberlee, grandchildren Savannah, Vivienne, Cole, and Grayson, brother Gordon, and Sister Kathy.  A Rosary service will be at 6pm on Wednesday October 18, 2017 and a Celebration of Life mass will be at 2pm on Thursday October 19, 2017 with a reception immediately following.  All services will be held at St. Mel’s Catholic Church (4745 Pennsylvania Ave., Fair Oaks, CA 95628).  The family invites you to help celebrate the memory of our beloved Suzanne.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed.
