With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Adam Matthew Rodriguez, age 31, on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Adam was born on October 6, 1994, and grew up in Granite Bay and most recently lived in the Sacramento area. He will be remembered for his generous heart, easy smile, and funny sense of humor. Adam brought comfort, laughter, and joy to family and friends, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of all who loved him. Though his life was far too short, the memories he created and the lives he touched will endure forever.
Adam attended Sacramento State University and built a career with Any Kind of Door, where he took tremendous pride in his work. Adam often shared photos of completed projects with family and friends, proud of the work he accomplished and the skills he brought to every job.
Outside of work, Adam was passionate about soccer. He began playing at an early age and continued to enjoy the sport throughout his life. Whether playing with friends, watching matches, or discussing the game with fellow fans, soccer brought him great joy and was one of his lifelong passions.
Adam deeply loved his faithful dog, Kali, who was a constant companion and source of comfort. Adam shared a special bond with his girlfriend, Ahtziry Corona, whose love, loyalty, and unwavering support enriched his life in countless ways. She was by his side through both good times and difficult moments, offering encouragement, comfort, and companionship.
Adam is survived by his father, Gerardo Rodriguez; mother, Diane Crum; stepfather, Jamie Crum; stepmother, Kristi McCullough; brother, Gabriel Rodriguez; girlfriend, Ahtziry Corona; 107-year-old grandmother, Rosa; beloved dog, Kali; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him deeply and remember him always.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the countless memories Adam gave us and the love he leaves behind. His spirit will remain with us always.
A Celebration of Adam's Life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Swanston Community Center, 2350 Northrop Ave., Sacramento. A viewing for Adam will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor his memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adam's memory to Front Street Animal Shelter, honoring his love for his beloved dog, Kali.
