Anita Bitanga Aguon, beloved mother to Kenneth of Chatsworth, CA, Randall (Evelyn) of El Dorado Hills, CA, Orlando of Prince George, VA and Lizette of Marina, CA, passed away after losing her battle with multiple myeloma on March 17, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill.
Anita was born in Agana, Guam on December 12, 1940 to Joaquin Duenas and Julita Bitanga Castro. Anita attended Saint Jude School. Her career was spent working in Sales for various industries. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, making leis for her grandchildren's graduations, flower arranging, and occasional trips to the casino.
Anita was a devoted mother to Kenneth, Randall, Orlando and Lizette, her pride and joy. They felt that in the love and support she provided.
Anita took special joy in her family. Especially her grandchildren David Smith (Monique), Orlando Aguon Jr (Leilani), Alexander Aguon (Cindy), Ryan Smith (Matt), Nicolas Aguon (Shannon), Dominique Hagen (Garrett), Troy Aguon (Katrina), Taylor Aguon, Travis Smith (Gabriela), Dru Smith; her great grandchildren Adriana Smith, Angel Aguon, Amaya Aguon, Aneesa Aguon, Georgie Aguon, Jay Aguon, David Smith, Noemi Smith, Keoni Aguon, Zoë Hagen, Kai Hagen.
Anita was preceded in death by her husband, David Herman Limtiaco Aguon, and is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
The viewing and funeral Mass are scheduled on March 27, 2025. Viewing (9:45-10:30 am) and Mass 10:30 am at Divine Savior Catholic Church, 9079 Greenback Ln, Orangevale, CA 95662. Burial following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 7101 Verner Ave, Citrus Heights, CA 95621.
