Annabelle (Anne) Marie Conway, of Folsom, CA, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, surrounded by her children. Annabelle was born on August 2, 1938, to Hubert and Marie Evans as was the sister to Herbert Evans.
Annabelle Graduated from Hagerman High School, Hagerman, Idaho in 1956.  She then married Wilber Lee Whismore in October 1956.

Annabelle then became a military wife in December 1956 and then a stay-at-home mom to 3 children.  
Anne remarried on November 7, 1981, to Robert Eugene Conway. Anne got her start in the medical field as a Candy Striper, a volunteer position in a Military Hospital at Amarillo (TX) AFB. She then went on to medical assisting school and graduated from Western Career College in 1972.

She then proceeded to work as a Medical Assistant from 1972-1978. In December of 1978, Anne took on a new role as an Instructor for Western Career College, teaching the next generation of Medical Assistants.  She was at Western Career College until 1992. She then transitioned to National Career Education Schools from 1992 until her passing where she was a teacher, Assistant Director of Education, Student Services Director and Librarian. But to all those who learned from her or worked with her, she was just Miss Anne, a friend with an ear to listen and a second mom to many.

Throughout her entire life, Anne was deeply involved with her church wherever she lived. Her faith in God was always unwavering. Her most recent fellowships were shared with the Congregation of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Citrus Heights and Foundation Lutheran Church in Folsom. Anne was involved in Sunday church services, Bible study, Choir and her church Book club.

Anne had a passion for books, music, animals, game shows and most of all her family and friends.
Anne is survived by her children Jeffrey Lee Whismore (Fair Oaks, CA), Russell Dane Whismore (Stevenage, United Kingdom) and Julie Ann Dumas (Citrus Heights, CA), 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  She is proceeded in death by her husband Robert Eugene Conway, her brother Herbert Martin Evans and her parents Hubert & Ellen Evans.

Services will be held for Anne on June 20, 2026, 11am @ St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 7869 Kingswood Dr., Citrus Heights, CA 95610. Anne was fondly known as the Energizer Bunny based on her never-ending supply of energy, and as a beloved friend and mom due to her endless supply of love and compassion for all.
