Barbara Joan Ann Wahlquist

Of Citrus Heights, California, passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 87. She was a native of Missouri, but had lived in many places throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glen Campbell Wahlquist. Barbara is survived by her children; David (Margo) Wahlquist, Janet (Richard) Johnston, Linda (John) Singler, Cindy Wahlquist, Scott (Michelle) Wahlquist, Vicki Wahlquist, Bruce (Tamara) Wahlquist, Karen (Mike) Parker, and Kathy (Andrew) Griffard, 26 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Barbara loved music and was a woman of many talents. She influenced many people throughout her life with her friendliness and ability to talk to anyone.  She was always positive and looked for the best in others.  She was an active member of her faith and had many opportunities to share her musical talents, teaching talents and was always willing to serve. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and daughter of God, and will be greatly missed.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, September 23rd at 1:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, San Juan Ward (4125 San Juan Ave., Fair Oaks). Interment Sylvan Cemetery. Price Funeral Chapel (916-725-02109), directors.
