Bonnie Jean Sousa

Our beloved sister, aunt, and friend, Bonnie, entered the gates of Heaven on May 17, 2022.  She left this world peacefully in her home and was surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Bonnie was born on September 3, 1950, to Lee and Mary Lou Sousa. She was the second child of seven. All of her siblings agreed that she was “the best” sister anyone could ever have.

Her greatness was not measured by what she had, but by what she generously gave to those she loved. Bonnie was always a motivator, who inspired others with her positive outlook. She was a loyal friend who was always willing to lend a hand.  Bonnie kept every card she ever received, and she never forgot to send her loved ones a card on birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries.

She lived in Fair Oaks for most of her adult life and worked as a school teacher at Robla Elementary for over 35 years. Bonnie loved sports,  trips to the casino, and camping with her family and friends.  She enjoyed the last 10 years in retirement celebrating life every day with her close friends. 

Bonnie, we miss you every day!  Save us a spot in Heaven!
