Brian George Eckert

Brian George Eckert, age 63, passed away at home on April 29, 2026. He was born on April 12, 1963 to Norma and Raymond Eckert. Brian was a 1981 graduate of San Juan High School in Citrus Heights, California. He attend American River College. Brian was an avid proponent of the environment and animal rights. He was a lifelong music enthusiast and enjoyed playing his guitars. Brian also enjoyed golfing and was a member of his high school golf team. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding. He owned several motorcycles during his lifetime and participated in drag racing competition winning trophies at Sacramento Raceway.

Brian was part of a military family and lived in Turkey, New York, Texas, Montana and California during his childhood and attend school in the latter three states. Brian is survived by his parents Norma and Raymond Eckert, brother Bret Eckert and sister in law, Cathy Eckert. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Sacramento SPCA.
