Carole Elizabeth Nelson

Carole Elizabeth Nelson was born in Toledo Ohio in 1932 to parents, Herbert and Hazel Balsmeyer. Had two older brothers; Robert and Richard.  Moved to Southern California in 1948. Married Brinton G. Nelson in 1951, raised 3 children; Greg, Gary and Susan in San Francisco's east bay area.  Moved to Sacramento in 1980, retired from JCPenney and lived in her Sacramento home till she slipped away in her sleep to be with Jesus and decided to stay on 12/5/19.  She enjoyed friends, family and fellowship. She loved God and her husband.  She was always ready to play a game of cards or 6 dice.  She is survived by her 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at Westside Christian Church in Roseville CA on Saturday 12/21/19 at 11am.  She was listening to KLOV radio as she went to heaven, so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to positive, encouraging KLOV radio (800-525-5683).
