Claudette Beverly McGraw

Claudette Beverly McGraw, known as "Fancy" to her parents, "Wa Wa" to her grandchildren and Beverly to her friends, passed away on the evening of May 4, 2021.  Our devoted matriarch passed in her beloved home, surrounded by family.  Beverly left behind 5 children, a myriad of grandchildren and cherished friends. 
Claudette was born on January 24, 1937 in San Bernardino, California to Lenore Lloyd and James Kerr.  She was a committed sister to the LDS church and a genealogy enthusiast.  She received a degree from American River College as a grandmother and retired from McClellan Air Force Base after 5 thousand years of service.

Wa Wa loved fashion, cars, hairstyles, crocheting, traveling and spending time with friends and family.  She made life-long friendships with her candidness and undeniable humor.  Her open door policy allowed all to come and go through the years.

Beverly was known for her one-liners and strong sense of self.  "Can't dance and it's too wet to plow", was one of her standbys.  She will forever be celebrated and remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.  We can imagine her tap dancing and smiling her way into heaven.

To give Beverly the last word, "and that's how the cow ate the cabbage!"
