CORY DONALD SWOPE

March 01, 1973 to November 01, 2025

Place of Birth:  Santa Clara, CA

Survived by parents Lynne and Roy Cornell and David and Patty Swope; brother Todd Swope and step brother Kevin; and step sisters Missy, Jamie, Karen and Wendy.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews, family and friends, and his loving dog/son, Riley.

Cory was a gregarious person who had an infectious laugh and the gift of gab.   He had a huge heart and was loved by all. He was a loving son, an integral family member, and a friend to all.  Cory worked hard and played hard. How lucky we all were to have known him.  

His life cut short, we are not prepared for the grief it brings. Our hearts are shattered and we miss him dearly. He will forever live in our hearts until Heaven joins us.

Special love and gratitude to Cory's cousin, Danny Salazar and Cory's dear friend, Mike Hull who have showed their deep love and friendship for Cory by helping us through this very sad time.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in 2026.
