Daniel William Pilon, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, passed away May 26, 2025 in his workshop, doing what he loved, at the age of 69.

Born and raised on a dairy farm in Cape Vincent, New York, Dan grew up alongside five sisters and one brother, learning the values of hard work and family. After finishing high school in Syracuse, NY he moved to San Francisco on a one-way ticket and built a life rooted in dedication, craftsmanship, and love. He was married in 1978 to Jan Fistor and had two children, Forrest and Shyla. 

He met his true love in 2004, Pat Seabourne, they were married in 2008 and remained together until his last day.

Dan had a deep passion for gardening, fishing, camping, and building things in his workshop. He was happiest outdoors or working with his hands, whether tinkering on a project or traveling in the fifth wheel with his beloved wife. He especially loved spending time with his eight grandchildren and proudly supported them at every sporting events or recital.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, steady presence, and the joy he brought to his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Price Funeral Chapel in Citrus Heights, June 11th, at 1PM.  The family invites you to Pat & Dan‘s house in Granite Bay after the ceremony.  Price Funeral Chapel (916-725-2109), directors.
