Deborah Dee Peat

Deborah Dee Peat, 72, passed away September 12 , 2021 of sudden illness. She was born on September 24, 1948 to the late Pauline Crites (Grimes) and Orlyn Fout in Ohio.

Deborah was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She retired in 2014 from Kaiser Roseville with 12 years of service as a Medical Assistant in Cardiology. Deborah returned to Colorado for several years to spend time with some of her children and grandchildren before returning to California. Her amazing creativity and baking experience landed her making all the families wedding and birthday cakes. Her passions were gardening, sewing, quilting, genealogy and caring for her 3 dachshund dogs (Sassy, Taz and; Zena).

She is survived by sister; Dara and Brother Chris (Marcie); 4 children; Bryan (Chantel), Melissa, Jeff (Katie) and Jennifer (Ernst); also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation on Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 9:00-9:45 a.m. with the service at 10:00 a.m. all at Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610. Interment to follow at the Sylvan Cemetery in Citrus Heights. There is a reception following the burial.
