Don Hughes

Our dad passed away on 10.30.2020. He was married to the love of his life, Frances, for 45 years. Over the course of this time they had three children (Joanne, Danielle, and Danilo), seven grandchildren (Makayla, Cody, Kyle, Isabella, Ollie, Scarlett, and Hudson), and a great grandchild (Paisley). Don served in the US Navy and worked as a US Mail Carrier for the duration of his career. He enjoyed vacations to Hawaii, large family vacations, and long road trips.  Don was a sports fanatic and loved SF Giants baseball and SF Niners football. He loved being surrounded by family and adored his grandchildren.  Don was a happy, kind, fair, and honest man who left a lasting impression on everyone he knew. Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation from 11:00-12:00PM on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights. Face masks are required. 
Reception to follow at Danilo’s house:  7321 Idle Wild Way, Sacramento 95831. We will have food and would love your company. Interment will be the Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery in Dixon, California at a later date due to COVID.
