Don Alfred Sherwood

Don Alfred Sherwood passed away on April 21, 2022 in Sacramento, California at the age of 58. He was born on March 2, 1964 in Murray, Utah to Donald and Evella (Singleton) Sherwood. He was married 40 years to the love of his life, Cindy (Burnside). They wed on July 27, 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together they had five children and nine grandchildren. Don was a scout master. He coached all his children in their chosen sports while growing up. But, one of his most rewarding accomplishments in life was as a scuba instructor. He loved swimming with the fish. He trained students from all around the world. They adored him. Don had a way to make people feel safe and to light up any room with his amazing sense of humor.  Don is survived by his wife Cindy, of the home. Children; Brittney Daniels (Rex); Joshua (Ashbe); Shantelle (Tim) and Shawn (Porsha). Grandchildren; Kambri and fiancé  Ryan Hintze, Ashton and Derby; Payton, Dakota, and Chloe; Ayden, Damani, and Noah. Sister; Dora Gallenbeck (Dan) of Baggs, Wyoming.  Preceding him in death; his parents, Donald and Evella. His daughter, Janelle and sister, Julie Kennedy.  A viewing will be held on April 30, 2022, from 10am - 12pm at Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, California.  A Celebration of Life will take place in West Valley City, Utah and Monterey, California in the near future.
