Donald Walker Obituary

Donald Gilmore Walker was born on August 20, 1946 in Houston, Texas and passed away on August 23rd, 2020 in Fair Oaks, California. He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Walker, children Craig Walker (Cathryn), Cynthia Walker and Cory Walker (Breanne); and grandchildren Anthony (Yesenia), Shelby (Brock), Maxwell, Madison, and Maislyn. Donald will also be missed by his sisters Doris and Doreen, his brother Dwight and brothers-in-law Ronald, Donald, Richard and Terry. We will remember Donald the most for his unique sense of humor and his proud service to our country. Don’s military career spanned more than two decades and two branches of service, where he earned many honors, including receiving two Purple Heart medals. Don’s life was dedicated to God, Country, and Family. He was a Patriot. Don passed peacefully in his home after a short battle with cancer. Donald’s internment will be at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery (5810 Midway Rd., Dixon, CA 95620). Price Funeral Chapel (916-725-2109), directors.
