Obituary

Our sweet mother, grandmother, grandma great, sister, aunt and friend has finished her beautiful and long life on this earth and has joined her sweet husband, Ellis “Hugh” Hardman, daughters, Judy Lynn Hardman and Brenda Lee Jones, grandson, granddaughter, parents, siblings and many friends in heaven. Born August 9, 1921 to Jeremiah Johnson and Pearly S. Simmons in Hurricane, Utah. Edie was the 5th of 8 children all who have proceeded her in death except her youngest sister, Afton Sunberg, who lives in Anchorage, Alaska. Edie has lived in Auburn since 1975. She has been a very active member of “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints”. She taught the primary children in the Auburn 1st ward for 45 years. Edie leaves behind her son, Steve and daughter-in- law Susie, 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many friends. She has lived a long and beautiful life and will truly be missed.
