Ella Imogene (Swift) Washburn

Obituary

Ella passed away on March 1 st , 2022 at her home in Citrus Heights, California at the age of 87 years old. She was born in Oklahoma to William Velda Swift and Ellen B. Swift. She was the second of 8 kids. She met her husband Charles Edward Russell Washburn Jr, at a Bible College. They were married for 65 years. Ella worked as a homemaker raising her children, then over 25 years working at Blue Dimond Almond Growers before she retired.

She is survived by her five children, Linda Washburn, Ronald Washburn, Cora Brott, Dora Hranac, Jeffrey Washburn, 12 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

There will be a public viewing from 3:00 – 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 10th, 2022, at Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610.

The Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday,  March 11th, 2022, at Sylvan Cemetery, in their gazebo, located at 7401 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610.

Reception to follow, 11:30 am – 2:00 pm at Arcade Church 3927 Marconi Ave, Sacramento, CA 95821.
