Gary E. Gray was bon on October 10, 1937 in Sacramento, CA to Velsa Leon and Ora Faun Gray. Gary grew up in Sacramento, CA, attended Sacramento High School, and then attended 2 years at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT while working for the Coca Cola Company part-time. He is a native of Sacramento, and has lived in Sacramento, CA; Provo, UT; Rancho Cordova, CA; finally settling in Fair Oaks, CA. He graduated from Technician School in Sacramento. He worked for Aerojet, Douglas Aircraft in Rancho Cordova, and then worked 32 years for the State of California.
He married JoAnn Barrett Gray on October 3, 1957 in the Los Angeles Temple. He and JoAnn had 3 children. Christine (deceased), Steven (deceased). He is survived by his wife, JoAnn, a daughter Marilyn Gray Hibler of Smith River, CA, and a sister Ann Gray (Kim) Rolls. He has 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has served faithfully in many positions in the church. He has been a good example to his family and friends. He loved the Lord, always attended church, had daily prayers and read the scriptures.
