Georgene Adkisson

Georgene Adkisson 89 passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Citrus Heights, CA. Born October 5, 1936, in Reno Nevada to Jack William & June Rowe.  She married the love of her life Earl Dean Adkisson October 30, 1954, until his death on July 12, 1986.  They had 32 wonderful years together with 3 beautiful children.  Georgene is survived by her children, William Dean Adkisson (Teresa), Dennis Wayne Adkisson (Nancy), and Joni June Kelley (Glenn).  Grandchildren, Crystal, Diana, Billy, Harmony, Jessie, Noelle, Jared, Kelsey, Cody, Jamie, 10 Great-Grandchildren she was truly devoted to her family.  Georgene cherished her sister Gail Adkins (Robert), Henderson, NV, when together they spent many hours giggling about old times and had a once of a lifetime trip to England to explore their family roots.  You would find them playing Slot Machines or Bingo in Reno and Vegas!

She was the Kitchen Manger and Head Cook for Hazel Creek Senior Living for 12 years in Citrus Heights.  

Georgene will be remembered as a Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.

We will celebrate Georgene on July 30, 2026, at Paradise Cemetery, 980 Elliott Rd, Paradise, Ca @ 10:30 AM and a luncheon @ 11:30 Cozy Diner, 6371 Skyway, Paradise, CA.
