Gloria Therese Perry Burgett

Gloria Therese Perry Burgett passed away on September 5, 2020 at the age of 91 in Fair Oaks, California. She was born on October 2, 1928, the Feast Day if the Guardian Angels. She was the beloved wife of Weldon Burgett, who preceded her in death on November 5, 1995. She was also the proud mother of Charisse Burgett Miller of St. Joseph, MN. Gloria graduated from St. Louis University ( a Jesuit University), with a degree in Geology. Although she traveled around the world and had many exciting adventures, Gloria will forver be remembered as a women of great faith and service by her many friends and loved ones. Her devotion to the Blessed Mother was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a lifelong Catholic were she served and supported many organizations. She was a member of Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Daughters of America where she served in many positions over the years, including Deanery Board Member and Commission Chair for Family and Community. She received the Women of the Year award three times. She also was a member of the National Council of Catholic Women, as well as many other Ministries. In Gloria’s own words “I thank the good Lord most of all for my faith”. A Memorial Service will be held September 4, 2021 at St. Clare Catholic Church in Roseville, CA.
