Harry Charles Moss
“Pop” to most, “Bud” to those in his hometown of Linton, IN
Harry passed away peacefully in his home in Rocklin, California, his four kids by his side. He had a warmth about him that was felt by all who met him. Harry enjoyed music, gardening, cooking, a dirty martini, billiards and all sports (especially football), tinkering in the garage and helping neighbors and friends. Most of all Harry valued family and cherished visits from his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved to share colorful stories about his life.
Harry was born on December 18, 1930 in Linton, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Emma; he was the father of Paul Moss (Betsy), Marilyn Korber (†Al), Sherril Cortez (Manuel), David Moss (Tamara); grandfather of Erica Renteria (Marcus), Vanessa Moss, Kristi and Aaron Cortez, Jessica Montoya (Mike), Matthew Thomas (Brianna); great grandfather of Luke and Olivia Renteria, Jacob Montoya, Tyler Thomas.
Harry was the son of Harry and Margaret Moss (deceased); brother of the late Elmer (Mildred), Oletha and Esther Moss, Elsie Conklin (Bob), Audrey Hawtin (Ben), Cynthia Abercrombie (Noble), Margaret Hackler (Leonard).
Harry was a graduate of Linton High School, and specialized in electronics at Hamilton and Mather Air Force Bases. He served in the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserve from 1950 – 1986.
