Hattie Mae Patrick was born on April 20, 1926 and passed away peacefully on August 16, 2020, in Rancho Cordova , California. She was the last survivor of 5 siblings, Amanda, James Jr. (Son), Farris, and Joel, and at the helm of this vast Patrick clan was James Patrick, Sr. She is survived by her loving daughter Patsy Richard, 4 grandchildren, Twanna Oliver, Vaneesa Applewhite, Van Barrett, and Derek Barrett. She was also blessed with (11) great-grandchildren, and (4) great-great-grandchildren. Being a Matriarch, Hattie was blessed with the ability to share her love and change the lives for the better, those she came in contact with. She had a wonderful laugh, a great smile, and loved being in the company of those close to her. She also had a strong love for God, family and friends in both California and St. Louis, and her church family at Mount Herald Missionary Baptist Church. Hattie was always up for a little good mischief. She always conveyed to everyone, "You will be alright." So we lean on her words at this time. The world will not be the same with her gone but I know she is waiting to welcome her loved ones when we all move on. Maybe we can get into some good mischief once again! A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 10:00AM at Sylvan Cemetery (7401 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA 95610). PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (916-725-2109), directors
