Jackie Ferguson of Pine Grove California, entered into rest on the evening of July 19, 2021, at the young age of 84. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 12, 1936 to her parents, Paul & Madge VanSickel. She was the youngest of four daughters: Marilyn, Shirley, and Paula. Nine years later, Jackie became a big sister to her brother Tom. Jackie was the last surviving sibling. Jackie graduated from South Lake Tahoe High School, Class of 1954.
In 1961, She married her first husband Harold Cassetta and they were married eleven years. In addition to Harold's daughter, Jackie & Harold had four more girls together. In 1980, she married Jerry Ferguson. Jerry passed away 1991.
She was a no nonsense lady, and absolutely Loved life, helping people, enjoyed hearing a really good joke, playing scrabble, having an occasional scotch or two and listening to her music. A few of her all time favorites were: Frank Sinatra (who she was thrilled to share her birthday with), Barbra Streisand and Andre Bocelli.
Jackie leaves behind her sister-in-laws that she referred to as her "sisters", Mabel Forkner Yates and Katherine VanSickel. Her daughters: Karen Ramsay & husband Jeff, Cathy Vandenburg & husband John, Kim Miller & husband Ronald, Kelly Hudson & husband Lou and Chris Cassetta & fiancee Don Watson. Jackie was known as "Gram" to her ten grandkids & fifteen great grandkids, one great granddaughter, called her "GG".
No services will be held, as Jackie's wishes were to have her ashes scattered in Monterey Bay.
