Jacqueline Diane Waters of Carmichael, CA went to be with the Lord on May 2 nd , 2024.
She was born on June 24 th , 1945. She was the daughter of Inez Ponticelli and Fred
Livaich. She was married to Vernon Waters, the love of her life for 48 years. She was
widowed in September of 2023. She is survived by many cousins, nieces, and
nephews; as well as great nieces and nephews who loved her very much.

Jacquie spent most of her childhood in Grass Valley, CA being raised by her
grandparents, Alpha and Lynn Cox. She moved back with her mother and father to the
Sacramento area in time to start high school. In her youth, she enjoyed skiing, tennis
and golf. Early in her marriage, she and Vern started a business venture while living in
Grass Valley. They opened a clothing boutique for women and men. The majority of her
working career was as an administrator at Kaiser Permanente.

Jacquie loved working in her garden, especially growing and caring for a wide variety of
roses. She was also a talented artist that used her abilities in a variety of ways including
to create caricature art for the Kaiser Permanente employee newsletter. She eventually
focused her artistic talents on Porcelain Painting. She was an active member of the
Camellia City Porcelain Artists Club. She also taught seminars and participated in
demonstrations.

Jacquie was a lifelong follower of Christ. She had a deep faith and trusted in God to see
her through her journey here on earth and beyond. She attended church at Center
Points Christian Fellowship. She was loved by many family members and friends who
will miss spending time with her. A graveside service will be held at the Fair Oaks
Cemetery, located at 7780 Olive Street, Fair Oaks, CA 95628. The service will be
presided over by Pastor Gary Anderson and Pastor Charles Seielstad.
